If you are reading this, our checker has probably visited your website. Here is exactly what it is, so you can allow it, block it, or ignore it.

What it does

Checks a hello247 client's own website for search and AI visibility, when that client asks for a check in their dashboard. It reads the pages a visitor would read, and nothing else. It never submits forms, never signs in, never buys anything, and never changes a page. It does not collect personal information.

A check only ever happens because a hello247 client asked for one about their own website, in their dashboard.

That address is fixed. We do not rotate addresses and we do not disguise the checker as a browser.

How politely it behaves

  • One request at a time, at least 1 second apart.
  • At most 6 pages, and 10 requests in total, per check.
  • At most 4 checks of any one site in a day.
  • It obeys robots.txt, including Crawl-delay.
  • If your host answers with a security screen, it stops immediately rather than trying again.

To block it

Add this to your robots.txt and it will stop:

Disallow: /

Blocking it only stops the check. It has no effect on search engines or on anything else about your site.

To let it in

Some hosts (SiteGround and Cloudflare among them) turn away automated visitors by default, including this one. If a client has asked you to allow it, the address to add is:

134.199.168.47

On SiteGround this is an exception in Anti-Bot AI, which their support team adds. On Cloudflare it is a WAF rule that skips bot checks for that address.
